Suitable for painted surfaces as
well as all metal surfaces and is applied using white spirit as
a penetration catalyst (Note that more detailed written
instructions for both methods are included with your Propshield
purchase along with further detailed precautions). Further
application photos can be seen here.
The below example/guide shows Propshield being applied to a bronze
propeller.

STEP 1
Surface
Preparation:
First clean the metal surface |

STEP 2
Dissolve a small amount of
Propshield into a plastic container
with
white spirit |
 |
 |

STEP 4
Once
the first coat has been applied
over the whole surface melt some
Propshield until it is a liquid. This can
be achieved by heating with a
blowlamp/heatgun or by dropping a container of Propshield into a
bowl/tub of hot water |

STEP 3
On a rag wipe the Propshield
& white spirit mixture onto the
blade until a very thin film is
applied

STEP 5 Now apply a second thicker coat;
dip a rag into the liquid Propshield
and apply a thicker coat to the blades |

STEP 6
The job is now completed
and
the vessel is ready to launch. |
