Suitable for painted surfaces as well as all metal surfaces and is applied using white spirit as a penetration catalyst (Note that more detailed written instructions for both methods are included with your Propshield purchase along with further detailed precautions). The below example/guide shows Propshield being applied to a bronze propeller.

Surface Preparation:
First clean the metal surface

Dissolve a small amount of
Propshield into a plastic container
with white spirit

Again dilute Propshield with approximately 5% to 15% White Spirit

(or melt Propshield with a heatgun or by dropping a tub of Propshield into a bowl/tub of hot water)

On a rag wipe the Propshield
& white spirit mixture onto the
blade until a very thin film is applied

Now apply a second thicker coat;
dip a rag into the liquid Propshield
and apply a thicker coat to the blades

The job is now completed and
the vessel is ready to launch.
